This movie and soundtrack were so formative to me. The first song I ever danced at a club to was Born Slippy. I was 17 and snuck into the gay club in Buffalo. The guy was in town from Miami (I have no idea why he’d come to Buffalo). I still smile when remembering that night - 3/30/97. So innocent.
