EVERY question we might have about God's commandments can be answered with the words, "Because He loves each of us."

Why should I love my enemies?

What is the purpose of going to the temple?

Why does He ask us to pay tithing?

How could I possibly stop doing ____?

Because He loves each of us.

The light of the holy temple is like a lighthouse for the soul, guiding us back to our Father. Once we have received its blessings, we are called to bring other searching hands and guide them towards the light- both in this world and in the one to come.

Therefore, fear not, little flock; do good; let earth and hell combine against you, for if ye are built upon my rock, they cannot prevail... Look unto me in every thought; doubt not, fear not.

Hearing a lot of Christians saying Jesus supports mass deportation.

It's very telling how the same people who have Leviticus verses bookmarked to misapply to persecute women who get abortions and the LGBTQ+ community are completely silent when it comes to the verses that call THEM to repentance.

Something I've come to learn- and had to relearn so many times- is that God has a plan for me. He knows exactly what is best for me, and yet He will let me make mistakes and find the right path on my own.

My thoughts on the infamous "sin of empathy" tweet that's been making the rounds. 🧵 1/3
