What a joy! Last weekend, we celebrated the efforts of our community group members with crafts and cocoa. Over the last few months, we laid the foundation for our community engagement through 12 overall events. We are thankful for your engagement and look forward to what the future holds!

We recently made the trip to Scottsbluff, where we attended a Panhandle Partnership meeting after stopping to tour an amazing public school. We're grateful for the inspiring and fruitful conversations with school and community leaders. Swipe to learn more about our trip! #standforschools

While Nebraska families have said NO to privatization before, Gov. Pillen is moving forward with vouchers anyway. Let’s raise our voices by 📣 📳 by calling the Governor and your Senator, and joining a Community Conversation meeting later this month to stand together for public schools!

🚨🚨 This afternoon, Gov. Pillen will be announcing the decision to opt Nebraska in to the federal voucher program. This decision ignores the will of NE voters, who recently rejected sending funding to private schools, and the research showing what actually improves student outcomes.

Over the weekend, we had the great pleasure of connecting with community members in South Sioux City! At the Celebrating Siouxland Latino Heritage Festival there was a great sense of community, culture, and joy. We were so grateful to be there and look forward to attending once again next year!
