Now you've got me thinking of other ideas:

Crafting type game where she starts relatively small, but progressively grows larger and you have to expand your resource generation to match.

Plant more farms to feed her more as she grows. Build more factories to make mats for her clothes, etc.

Just spitballing, but maybe something kind of in the format of Gun Gun Pixies, but instead of fighting stuff and staying hidden you would complete tasks/missions together with your giant friend/GF.

Like you help her study by getting the eraser that fell in the crack behind the desk or something.

This was exactly beat for beat what I thought and did a year ago, and now I (shudders)........kinda.....like.....the macbook 🫥. There's actually a lot of stuff on it that's easier since it's a Unix based system.

I've been thinking lately about how as you get older it gets easier to make goals and work towards them, but a lot harder to figure out what you're doing as a whole and weaving those goals together into a greater life plan. Maybe I should go to a lake 🤔

I think I skim by default unless it's something I'm really invested in or historically like a lot.

I do often run into a phenomenon where a very minor panel that was just filler or transitional ends up striking a chord with me the most though lol.

Ohhhh I never thought about going with Bazzite for purposes other than a full on gaming machine. But if its primary design is to run games then surely there's overlap with the infrastructure required to make other Unreal stuff work. Interesting! I'd be interested to see how this works out for you

I watched all my old coworkers reveal themselves as having no eye for art in real time once AI came into the picture. They'd rant and rave daily about how easy it was to make images that looked "so much better than Getty stock photos". Meanwhile the humans in them barely had faces......

Nothing outside of usual Linux quirks. It's definitely in the category with stuff like Mint and Pop_OS and stuff where it leans more into stuff that the average person would want as convenience features. It's also worked out of the box with some pretty weird hardware I've tried to put it on.

I've been in this process forever and it's definitely a slow ween-off kind of thing for me. I've landed on Zorin as my "it just works" Linux distribution as of late.
