And unification bouts are usually the biggest boxing matches of the year. Just look at Usyk or Crawford, their unification bouts were huge draws. Adding mandatory defenses of the individual championships would be a nice touch for AEW.

I think I get why they did this. Unification bouts are usually a big deal in boxing, so splitting the belts will create an opportunity to do another unification match down the line. Don't be surprised if Takeshita wins the C2 and Okada doesn't.ake the final.

Cancelled my subscription ages ago, though that had more to do with the service being ass and that my YouTube premium subscription included YouTube music, which is a surprisingly good music streaming platform.
