My employer had us put everything on hold for three days to try Claude. When they sent us a survey about the experience, I gave them a link to the METR study

Honestly, I’ve seen how Claude can be really useful, and if not for the energy and water issues, I’d probably be really excited to add it to my toolbox. But the culty obsession that the higher-ups have with AI is concerning.

I do love how all the wide-eyed praise of these LLMs is always followed up with “Also, [model] hallucinates a LOT so make sure you check the code it generates”

It’s just wild how many people have completely, uncritically bought into all the marketing hype. They put EVERYTHING on hold for three days so EVERYONE can dick around with Claude/ChatGPT/Copilot
