Yep. It’s not a rule book to discipline us by; it’s a list of things we should avoid for our own good.
It’s really rich for (rich) Trump officials to talk about being out of touch.
Hassett: "On one of the Sunday shows, the anchor criticized the fact Walmart said the Thanksgiving dinner is cheaper by about $10. Then he said, 'Oh yeah, but they substituted generic stuff,' as if having a generic something is a crime for ordinary folks! It shows how out of touch these people are."

I really don’t know how anyone reads a statement like this and says, “This is a great negotiator or dealmaker.”
Trump has been so one-sided, and completely played by Putin, for the past 10 months.

This is a good rule to follow. Just be nice and think about what will happen if you quote that smaller account.
Plus, some of the smaller accounts aren’t used to a lot of attention or replies. It can be pretty nerve-racking, if you’re a smaller account.
