That's a very deep topic with a-lot of theories I have, as to why and a-lot of it is tied to politics as well. Remember how in sex Ed they would say "Abstinence is only 100% effective way to prevent pregnancy's or STDs"? (if you lived in the US) but it's mainly politically motivated.
