I'm not in the US so I can't really tell, but it feels like declaring war at a way more nearby territory vs Middle East (as an example) would be a lot harder to sell in the era of social media.

We'll see soon I guess, sadly. Not optimist but hopefully congress at least tells him to fuck off...

And now apparently they're moving from a "minority stake" in Juventus into allegedly putting 1B to buy it entirely.

I feel bad for that club's fans when everything (eventually?) crumbles down, another parmalat situation brewing for calcio

How was the political pandering arguably the less sluggy moment of the ceremony, that had a bit of rhythm/pace at least

It feels eteeeeeeernal my god lol

Like, either everything goes so to shit regarding ICE/migrations in the next 6 months WC becomes Mexico/Canada only (VERY unlikely)

Or the us gvmt fakes dementia for a month and a half as to avoid a global embarrasment. Which i wonder if they can achieve.

Do you over there also feel like this?

First half of this ceremony with this peace trophy and such was extremely awkward/cringe.

Now it's sort of back to a more standard WC group draw. Which is very strange from everything happening in the US recently...

I remember your many videos on TCG deadly sins, and this has been pretty refreshing to see executed. I'm also veeeeeery curious on how they'll handle what's basicaly a VERY BROKEN commander (Suisei). Banning it is unlikely, an errata could work but I wonder if they'll find a softer fix instead

(Hard to write it in 280 chars)

I thought you may find it interesting from a design perspective. Game went as high as to 5 limited cards, and now we're back down to 2. With both very likely getting unrestricted in a couple months if this unban logic works as intended.

I'm thinking the opposite way. No one stops this circus show since the outcome is clear, but it's also a win-win: No one pardoned by biden gets unpardoned as one would expect, but also all of trump's pardons get revalidated as permanent (which in some cases sucks, but it's just the way it works)

We gotta give it, unitedstatian wouldn't really cut it. In Spanish "estadounidense" slips a loooooot better than "Americano" however (not to mention more casual terms like "yanqui" or "gringo", used affectively/neutrally many times, but I'm aware those have despective connotations at times to y'all)

There's really no """correct""" separation, there's also a criteria to consider: geological, politic, historic, etc.

But back to the start: using "American" is considered pretty stupid over here (we just don't really care about it too strongly, we're all American even if some US people disagree)

At least in South America (which we consider a subdivision of "America" - including North, Center and South) we have Oceania as a continent encompassing Australia as it's main continental land.

But I agree it's a very subjective topic, I don't really find it controversial splitting Australia out.

Not sure if relevant, but would this be worth consideration for a future litigation disaster tour?

Haha, I know it's probably not intentional but love the subtle nostalgia look of surf being the lapras with no trainer in sight (similar to gen 2 in the gameboy)

Don't fully agree but do agree in parts. This shadow docket situation is absolute bullshit and I'm amazed at how normalized it appears to be?

Like, lower court judges doing pages and pages of arguments explaining a ruling, then the supreme uses what should be exceptional to say "lol no u wrong"

I find it weird you use individual elections for senate seats as soon as they get freed up, here we had a reform 30 years ago having the senate election be direct vote, 3 seats per province, 1st place gets 2 seats 2nd gets the 3rd one. Would improve odds of independent candidates not tied to R/D

Idk, i just don't see that having support from either States' local governments so how do you force it? What's done is done unless the merge is proposed and approved from inside.
