Today in "Unfortunate Moments in NHL Draft History", we revisit the Detroit Red Wings and their search for goalies in the 3rd round of the 2018 Draft. Detroit took #11 EU ranked Eliasson @ 84oa. Taken next would be #1 EU ranked Dostal.

Dostal leads the NHL in GSAE. Eliasson is plays in HockeyEttan.

A work-in-progress study of NHL centers prime career WAR/60 vs AHL games played. The hypothesis was, "how long is too long in the AHL if the hope is to develop a meaningful NHL center?"

So far it seems like any more than 100 games should raise questions, but there is still work to do -
