They’re lovely. Not had the usual avalanche of them mid-summer but in hindsight, fewer, but a steady stream of them is more useful in the kitchen.

Still getting plenty of tomatoes and more blossom on the plants suggesting more to come. #More

One of the few waterfront buildings that now doesn’t really make sense because of Bazalgette’s embankment stuck in front of it IMO.

This dream-like illustration is a detail from William Blake’s illustration to the 'Divine Comedy', Purgatorio XXVII, showing Dante and Statius sleeping with Virgil watching.

Detail from Dante and Statius sleeping, William Blake, 1827. WA1918.3
A watercolour of a staircase with three figures sleeping on three of the steps. In the sky is a large sun.

Now I’m working up in town again I’m suddenly aware of how much earlier it’s getting dark.

Nice. I do get the fear of dangling and touching porcelain tho. Happened once doing a shit in a work loo and still makes me shudder.

But yeah, normal daytime that would be odd.

I do if I have to get up for one in the night cos I leave the light off so not to wake anyone. That way you don’t have to worry about aim or pissing all over everyone’s stuff.

I am a fountain of utterly useless knowledge.

I used to love those as a kid but only recently found out the fern pattern on them is because the Victorians were mental for collecting ferns. It spread like a mania across the UK and we lost loads of species because of everyone pulling them up!

Gold has just busted thru £3k an oz! 11 yrs ago I bought 5 x 1 oz Gold Brittania coins for £750 each and then sold them a year later after the referendum when it shot up to just over a grand per oz and made a tax free £1000. Thought I did ok on that but if only I’d sat on em 🙄

I remember there being some fabulous flock wallpaper in that film.

The least you can do is be nice innit? There’s enough cunts in the news 24/7 don’t become one yerself. 👍

Watching gala pies being made on Bake Off and then started reading a penny dreadful version of Sweeney Todd.

‘Golopshious gravy of the pies’. What a word!

I no longer understand the world in which we live
Fabletics 'Spotlight Shaping Ass Out Capri' for when you want to go to the gym in a strange mashup of fake stockings and standard capris. As is common.

I’ve been out all evening - too cloudy here.

Lovely big ol moon last night. I’ve given up taking pics on my phone cos they’re always shit. Best just to stand in front of it and soak up all the moon juice.

Wahey! Nice one. Love the cheese on top detail. That serves the cheating faux baker a lesson. Bet they didn’t even use a shepherd’s crook to finish theirs off.
