World of Darkness was such a great tabletop RPG universe. 16 year-old me always took on the role of Storyteller, leading my friends into a narrative full of vampires, werewolves, and katana wielding hunter ninjas. It was like a better Twilight with less romance but a whole lot of teenage angst.

Started this one today. In Chicago in 1892 you had to watch out for trains, cars, exploding gas valves, murder, and the coal in the air.

The Giant had a massive wide torso, like a swimmer’s back. Wider than a city block when the rises still stood. Custodian of floating platforms and the blocky concrete walls, like odes to brutalism, that block the rising oceans. He enjoyed his work, despite the heavy winds and constant storms.

In the year one-eighty-eight of a Giant’s life, they get to pick a new name. To actually name themselves though, they must first demonstrate to the Council that their name is worthy. Most fail, and are given another name instead of the privilege of selecting one of their own.
