If the Dems had shut down the Gvt. Trump would have had sole control. No money for Federal Courts, essential employees to work with no pay. No money for medical, etc. At least we have this and Trump doesn't get to decide when to negotiate next.

If the government shuts down all the power goes to Trump and the Republicans. They will declare essential services make those people work without pay. Everyone else goes home. It will shut down the Federal Courts where democrats are making a fight and having success.

Ken. Did the Democratic leadership not read Project 2025 and have a plan in place. Until they do, don't ask for $. I need our $ since it looks like you will let Trump take our Social Security.
