I won't lie- I was really hoping for a last minute shiny Turtonator before tonight's festivities, but after reaching double odds for phase 9 I thought it best to call it...for 2025. And yeah, I did an awful job at updating this over here...BUT! I did get a bingo which I was not anticipating. 🪐

I dreamed about finding Mimikyu last night…and today found this gal instead. 6097 encounters brings me Limeade! She’s rash and loves to take naps. She’s also what ties the Haunter-Golbat ratio! Who knows what phase 9 will bring…and when?

12727 encounters— phase seven is OVER FOR BOTH HURRAY! Meet Papaya, my second Golbat on this quest, named after a friend of mine’s Crobat from a time’s past (they’re a proper fan of poison types). He’s brave, sturdy, and focused, which…honestly all fits together really well!

12727 encounters— phase seven is OVER FOR BOTH HURRAY! Meet Papaya, my second Golbat on this quest, named after a friend of mine’s Crobat from a time’s past (they’re a proper fan of poison types). He’s brave, sturdy, and focused, which…honestly all fits together really well!
Phase 8 appears far quicker than phase 7, 1017 encounters brings yet another new phase…only Elekid and the lovely target Turtonator remain. But oh, I love the shiny for this fire turtle too. Sassy and scatters things often, slow and steady wins the race…Sorbet. So many ssss.

Apparently this little one wants to do the Electrike Slide with another little Pikaclone. 10320 encounters after Dee Dee is the knight of my roundtable Lancelot, who’s relaxed and likes to take plenty of siestas (easily explaining the encounter number. He moves on his own time!)

I managed to remember to take the clip of finding it in my shock and surprise. I was so afraid that it wouldn’t show up in this screen for some reason— I’d been checking the batches in the boxes afterward just in case. I had 20 Cranidos per reset and this was number 15!

Shiny Cranidos found in Brilliant Diamond! This was a hunt I started sometime last year, but took a major break up until fossil week this year. It’s been on and off, but I believe I was still under odds? I wasn’t counting all of them for this one, admittedly

I had been debating if I should finish out my night with another try at Cranidos in BDSP for fossil week, or doing more encounters for these DTQs. At 1195 for phase 6, a docile and alert to sounds Dedenne appears, shining beautifully. I’m so very happy to have gotten Dee Dee 🤎

This is completely and utterly crazy. To completely oppose the one that went 4x odds for the DTQ, we have this pretty lil Adamant gal to round out phase 5 at a mere 647 encounters. I love Mudbray 🧡

5367 brings the third Haunter to town…or, rather, to the thrifty megamart. Meet Murasaki, a mild and somewhat vain gal that decided barely over odds is enough to call an end to phase 6. I love her dearly— perhaps she’ll be the open arms (open hands???) to beckon Mimikyu out of hiding.

I— okay. 3448 encounters later gives this gal. Yes, she’s blinking for her photo, but it’s endearing. She WAS lonely when I found her, so I’m glad she won’t be with her brother and two Charjabugs that preceded her. And she hates to lose, which makes sense since she beat out the Turtonator.

Phase 3 for Turtonator appears after 5079 encounters! And of course, it’s a 10%— the one we’ve previously gotten, in fact. But Ula is pretty darn cool. I hear he likes to enter marathons for the experience.

For my birthday I decided I’d try to get a full odds destiny mark Deino, my favorite lil guy. After a few phases with no marks, I decided to try my hand with sparkling power~ and Sevvy was quick to show herself after that 💚

After a weekend spent game jamming, I was able to do some encounters once more tonight. Apparently the games missed me? 1137 encounters for phase 5~ another beautiful kleptomaniac. This one’s relaxed but also strongly defiant— sounds like a real prankster to me. Say hi to Keyth ☺️

Phase 3 is another Haunter after 2298 encounters. I…am so taken aback. Never would I have ever anticipated two full odds shinies in these games in less than two hours, but Banshee is gentle and did NOT take a siesta instead of revealing herself to me. Which I am so very happy about 🩵

Phase 2 is Korock the shiny Graveler, the first of TWO shinies tonight. I am. Baffled. Even if they weren’t in the same game, they’re connected I KNOW IT! He’s calm and somewhat stubborn, and he tried to blow up first turn so um…at least he liked the heal ball?
