Both games are very fun and classic JRPGs. DQI is more simple. DQII was harder and had a fun party. DQII is my favorite of the Erdrick trilogy. Loved exploring the world and seeing how it evolved between games.

A very cute, short and cozy series about a witch living in the woods. The characters were charming. The ending seemed like it was leading to a bigger adventure making this feel like a prequel. Wish the series was longer to flesh everything out.

It took me a few volumes to get into the manga when I first started reading it (I switched to the anime since I wanted to see karuta animated). Once you learn the rules of karuta it’s a lot easier to get into and enjoy. The characters are also fantastic and have phenomenal development.
