🍍🌊🪸 The SpongeBob movie was super cute but honestly you should go see it first the simple fact there is a GORGEOUS Ninja Turtles exclusive animated short before about consumerism and anti AI and I clapped when it ended.

Also simultaneously reading The Murderbot Diaries and truly both series are helping me cope thru the hard parts of winter and holiday season trauma/depression honestly
I started the Sworn Soldier series by T. Kingfisher recently and wow - I’m both impressed and in love and simultaneously icked and triggered lol
What a fantastic author! 💛

Everytime I read abt scurvy from the Pirate fandom (genre of white people online) they talk abt it like its this universal thing yet in all my years of reading about wayfinders & chinese sailors, not once have I read abt any Polynesians and austronesians getting scurvy as bad as western counterparts

Chi-Yu luminary, hand-sculpted from clay.
This heckin fish was the definition of "I have no idea what I'm doing, so I'm just gonna wing it." So many things went wrong while I was making this guy, but I guess he turned out ok-ish? Might try making an improved version in January!

Been receiving a lot of compliments and encouragement from both loved ones and strangers about my art and getting back into art again and welp,,,,,,,hopefully I can make 2026 my year of just making sillay doodles to warm back up into art again!
