Just a librarian relaxing after a long day of work and family duties... at least, in this timeline! (I'm a librarian in those others too.) Also, I'm a Librarian V-tuber. Man, I need a new gimmick...

Also, I have a daughter and three orange cats.
My cats are usually fine with me picking them up, but I got hooked by one the other day when I was holding him so my wife could clean one of his feet. Hurt like hell since he started flailing a bit while being hooked.

Hope your wound is healing well!

It's badly needed. I know they've been working on it for a while, so I'm happy to see that they're going as far as to announce it now!

Learning is fun! Isn't that why we became librarians? 😁😎

I'm American, and while it's not a term I used a lot, I've definitely said it and heard others say it.

Then again, I'm from Michigan, and we're a lot more Canadian than most of the US!

I feel you. My brother got all of the art skills.

I used to try and draw landscapes before I realized that they all look exactly the same (and also just awful).

Being mobile geographically is definitely a huge plus! But I think you really need to show that you're willing and able to learn new things. That shows that you are capable of handling work in subject areas that you may be inexperienced in, and able to fill roles that others can't/won't.

That's like me! My bachelor's is in Linguistics/Creative Writing (double major) and started in health sciences librarianship. I'm going to be pivoting to more general sciences soon, but still outside of my other education.
