For clarity (just in case):

• IsekaiPancreas updates on Saturday or Sunday, around 11 AM US Mountain Time
• The priority queue will always be 5 pages ahead, so if I'm unable to finish a page, there will be no public update either

Think I might just keep drawing Sigrin on weekends (where I update the comic on time).

But since I have the creativity of a bump of moss on a log when it comes to vignettes, I'm gonna open this to mutuals to suggest outfits/poses/settings that aren't too much for an 800x800 doodle.

This just makes me curious if you're familiar with Kaze Emanuar's efforts at basically redoing Mario 64's code --still within the constraint of real N64 architecture, but with newer and better understanding of how the N64 works.

(And if so, your opinion.)

Yeah, I loathe that these abominable "intelligences" respond with personality --pride, self-flagellation, anything-- when confronted with their own mistakes when they do nothing BUT make mistakes....

Whoever is responsible for that sure is earning a prime seat in the deepest circle of Hell.

Yeah, that's not surprising at all.

None of these slop machines do anything other than spit out what pattern recognition says the answer should look like, rather than what the answer should be.

That they sometimes actually involve relevant data feels more like an accident than a feature.

So, to loop back to the start, I have a strong positive feeling towards social media despite its ills, because my experience exemplifies its best points.

It provides you not only knowledge, but perspective and context. And does so in a way that "official website" sources might fail to provide.

I'm including reddit in my definition of "social media" here to be clear.

If not for social media presenting people and communities of all makes and models, I suspect my understanding of trans would have been built on a very narrow concept that doesn't match my experience.

Which, y'know, no bueno.

I absolutely CANNOT "just talk to a person" so I effectively could not ever date the old fashioned way. And I'm not compatible with dating sites/apps either.

All that to say yes, great things happened because of social media. I found a person I want to be with forever, and I learned things that helped me understand who and what I am.

Which are both invaluable.

If not for social media, I'd be single forever probably.
And I'd likely have significantly less understanding of myself as a queer person.

So whenever people say things like "social media was a mistake", I tend to feel a strong rejection of the idea. Like, sure, I *get it* but also... *gestures*.
