Bottom line: I will think about whether I need Steam at all. If I decide to sell games there, I will issue additional documents. If I don't go back to Steam, then everyone who bought games on Steam will get keys on another platform (most likely it will be EGS) to receive game updates.

And in general, I am disappointed with Valve: they do not help in any way to promote games from indie developers without an audience (but this is a separate topic for a sore subject).

I do not have any other documents now, and I do not want to issue a new document just to satisfy some department. EGS, for example, accepted my passport without any problems.

Details: the partner verification department (KYC) does not want to accept my passport because it was issued more than 10 years ago (although everything was ok 7 years ago when I registered with Steam).
