It's not always about the money, Spider-Man.

Except when it's about the METS' $765m!

C'mon get that big contract, Let's Go Mets!

Iglesias doesn't surprise me.

He got a bunch of infield singles by not taking any play for granted (sometimes in really key spots).

From his call-up on May 31st to the end of the season, he had 20 infield singles, which was tied for 3rd in MLB (and 9 more than any other Met).

Everyone should get their news from Jeff Pasan at BlueSky.

Credit to you for posting his most recent tweets to make this one seem more legitimate.

Watch for the misspelled Passan in the handle.

However, the account already has 9,000 followers, and I'm not sure how many are aware it's a parody (as listed in bio).

If Siri could figure out how to make consistent contact while keeping his power, he could make All-Star teams. Easier said than done though.

As it stands, he's similar to Harrison Bader, with more power, a lot more swing and miss, and more years until free agency. Interesting trade.

Bad Stats #1, 2, and 3:

Last year, out of 207 hitters with 400+ PA, Siri ranked:

206th in BA (.187)
207th in OBP (.255)
207th in K rate (37.9%)

Despite the bad numbers, Siri still put up 1.9 fWAR last season, similar to what Michael Harris II (2.0) and Pete Alonso (2.1) recorded.

It was essentially a mirror of the Bulls game.
Wednesday:

Knicks trail by 22 in the 3rd

Knicks comeback to take the lead, but lose when Jalen Brunson's game-winner rims out

Friday:

Knicks lead by 21 in the 3rd

Nets comeback to take the lead, but Jalen Brunson hits a game-winning three to give the Knicks the win

Probably felt cathartic for Huk after that disallowed dunk against Cleveland.

They've looked very good in their wins, and very... not in their losses.

Close games are toss-ups (1-3 in games decided by single digits) so hopefully there's some positive regression there.
