The old woman who lives in the woods (or on my desk in this case) invites you to peruse the fine selection of cloth creature miniatures available from our fine establishment, of which these friends are just some!

Come on over to statuesqueminiatures.co.uk and statuesqueminiatures.etsy.com for 🇪🇺&🇳🇴
A painted miniature of a cloth old woman stands in front of a host of cloth creatures miniatures - cloth dolls, beanbag cats, cloth goblins, a cloth troll, a cloth penguin, cloth cats and kittens, a cloth robin and singing cloth mice!

It is. Though it turns out it wasn't the driver. I unplugged the wee plug thing and it appeared again.

Still maybe not the best sign.
statuesque.bsky.social
I wish my computer wouldn't randomly uninstall the driver for my (admittedly ancient) cintiq.

Dunno if it's terminal this time.

It's awful wet out - a good day as a cloth adventurer to have a waterproof coat or hat - but there are still wonders to find!

statuesqueminiatures.co.uk and statuesqueminiatures.etsy.com for 🇪🇺&🇳🇴
Two miniatures of a cloth rogue wearing a green hooded coat and a grey beanbag magic cat wearing a blue floppy hat inspect the green mosses, lichens and vibrant orange fungus growing on top of a sodden, slightly rotten fence post.

So I got a rather exciting package in the post.

I'm hoping to get some more made if anyone is interested and I'll be trying to sell some physical prints of my terrain to help pay for the casting.

That a load of pre-orders dropped off at the local depot this morning. The rest will go on Monday.

I did think about walking down tomorrow but it's going to be very wet and windy.

Troll still 10% off though! statuesqueminiatures.co.uk (posting to 🇺🇸 again) and statuesqueminiatures.etsy.com for 🇪🇺&🇳🇴

📦 I'll be getting the first batch of pre-orders for the cloth troll warrior posted tomorrow morning 🎉

The 10% OFF pre-order discount runs until Sunday. Why not take a wee look over at statuesqueminiatures.co.uk (posting to 🇺🇸 again) and statuesqueminiatures.etsy.com for 🇪🇺&🇳🇴
Stacks of brown postal boxes with an open box filled with crinkle packing paper and a wee baggy for a metal cloth troll warrior miniature. Painted miniatures of cloth goblins, cloth rats and a cloth dug look on. The rats are particularly enamoured with a scruffily buffed metal miniature of the cloth troll that has been given a black enamel wash to bring out the details.

I don't know if this is a thing yet so this is a deliberately dirty pixelated picture but this is what my evening has produced.

I mean, I know what it is. It's a cloth trow. I just don't know if it will go further. But I like it.

Needs seams obvs
A close up photograph of a computer screen showing a pixelated render of a cloth creature, kinda kidney bean shaped with a hood opening and stumpy wee arms. The render is red.

Azure Raptors Female Space Marines - Intercessor squad.

Azure Raptors Female Space Marines - Intercessor squad.
Five Marines in pale blue power armour. A bit chonkier than the girls in Phobos Armour, with slightly bigger guns, but still with fabulous hair. Azure Raptors Female Space Marines - Intercessor Sergeant. She has a big gun hefted onto her left thigh, a side-shave haircut the colour of strawberry ice cream, an orange bionic eye, and she's pointing very firmly off to her right with two fingers of her right hand. "Over th- No. Over there. Over. There. THERE!! Over there, yes. See where I'm pointing? Yes? Yes, I'm smiling, but I'm furious. By the Emperor... OVER THERE!!" Two Azure Raptors Female Space Marine Intercessors. They're both quite stern even though they have fabulous hair. The one on the left has a grenade launcher. Her friends probably call her Boomer and she looks sick of it. *Foomp* goes another grenade. Her friend has floppy yellow hair and doesn't say much. Two Azure Raptors Female Space Marine Intercessors.
The one to the left is shouting something as she reloads her frankly massive gun and her companion has hers held high. She looks quite stern and a bit scowly. Her short-back-and-sides is bright red and swept back. You know, I'm not sure any of these girls are straight.

Scribble. Sculpt. Cast. Paint.

You have to paint them yourself. Get 'em here, still 10% off:

A close up of a crudely sketched biro drawing of a cloth troll. I briefly considered giving him trousers, which are scribbled over the main scribble. The drawing is around 3cm tall. A render of a digital sculpture of the cloth troll from the previous scribble, holding an axe. The troll has big floppy ears, big fists and a very long neck. A metal miniature of the cloth troll. In the background there is a cloth rogue and a beanbag magic cat. A painted version of the cloth troll miniature. The troll is purplish with a big pale belly and black ears and brows. Beside it is a cloth dug which is blue with a pale belly and black ears and brows. The two figures share design elements.

The shelf of many domes is in dire need of a dusting and a tidy, but the cloth adventurers are safe and sound together in their tiny glass bubble reality.

Need tiny wee things for tiny wee domes?

On a shelf lit by fairy lights, on a cork base from a glass dome, stand five painted miniatures of cloth creatures: a cloth rogue wearing a green hooded coat, a purplish cloth troll warrior with a big axe, a black cloth craa holding a lamp, a grey beanbag magic cat wearing a blue floppy hat and a blue cloth dug with a goofy expression. In the background there is a glimpse of tatty old beanbag cat. A real one, not a miniature of one.

A cloth troll warrior and a cloth dug - painted with a toothbrush 🪥

Enjoyed painting this pair. Did not enjoy choosing a background sparkle colour. It's ok, I guess.

Painted miniatures of a purplish cloth troll with floppy black ears, a pale belly and a big axe and a blue cloth dug with floppy black ears and a pale belly as well. They have been splattered with very thin light grey paint and brown wash, using a toothbrush, to give a textured effect. Cloth adventurers assemble!

I love that the troll makes the dug look even more derpy. They both evolved from the same earlier, unfinished figure.

I love them both equally, derp or no (well...less) derp.
