I was set to pull the plug on buying one of the new third gen Ultra Wide 360Hz QD-OLEDs, now this has me questioning that. It sounds very impressive but don't think I could give up HDR support and the contrast of an OLED to go back to an LCD display. Maybe I need to get both LOL.

I'm Irish, I don't know if that's true, there is genuine antisemitism that's downplayed here, but it's also exaggerated by the Pro-Israel crowd online. I think Ireland looks at the situation in Israel-Palestine and sees it through the lens of its own history with Israel filling the role of the UK.

Whatever about Allied logistical support in WW2, Russia would not have won without the other nations that comprised the Soviet Union, around a third of the Soviet armed forces was made up of troops from those other states not least of which was Ukraine. No chance they would of won without them.

The Israeli's seemed to have gotten over Dev passing on those condolences as they planted and named a forest after him in 1966 for his decision in 1948 to overrule the Department of Justice decision to bar 150 Jewish children from entering Ireland as refugees.

Bit of a stretch to call her that, there is nothing on record of her expressing support for Assad, she has been critical of NATO and European rearmament which is why I didn't support her in the election. Nevertheless the President of Ireland is just a figurehead with no political power.

Yeah I work in I.T and we are trailing it at the moment, does seem to have some genuine use cases in a work environment and it's the business market that earn Microsoft significantly more revenue than the home market. Looks like John is coming at this solely from a home user perspective.

I played a lot of UE3 games back in the day on PC and I can't recall stutter like I see in UE5. I guess I simply wasn't attuned to it. Even the PC port of Gears of War was fine to me back then. Recently tested it on a 7800X3D/4090 combo and low and behold I can now see the stutters.

I remember in your Gears of War PC Retro Time Capsule Vs X360 vid, John mentioning it was the beginning of stutter struggle, I was like nah...was absolutely flawless when I played it on PC back in the day. So I reinstalled on my current rig a 7800X3d and 4090 and oh boy can I spot the stutters now!

If protecting your own self interests is stabbing everyone in the back then every country has been guilty of that at some point. I suspect when push comes to show Ireland won't stand in the way of the EU going after the US's digital services.

Broken and forced into line? Immature and selfish? what are you talking about? Yes Ireland has its own self interests but how is that any different from any other EU state. And no Ireland is not going end like the UK, we didn't shoot ourselves in the foot with Brexit.

Games for Windows is just a brand Microsoft came up with to try to standardize PC games. It's not the same as Games for Windows Live which was an online gaming service and storefront that everyone hated.
