On Tuesday we marked the success of last term’s Run For Life, which we distributed 62,800 to charities. Representatives from our chosen charities visited to speak with junior students about their work and the impact of the donations. A huge thank you to all the charities who joined us.

Huge congrats to Hayk Avetisyan, Bobby Lonergan, Conor McLoughlin and Darragh Lennon on achieving the 2nd highest score in the country in the IMTA junior problem solving maths competition today securing a place in the All Ireland. An amazing achievement.

Congratulations to 2nd year student Conn Mc Cluskey who has won the Junior Boys All Ireland High Jump final in Tullamore for the 2nd year in a row! Last year, he won the Minor Boys High Jump title. Everyone in the College is extremely proud of this magnificent achievement!

First years have finished up the year in Visual Art completing a very successful needle felting project on the theme of bugs. These skills will be built on further over the next 2 years in Visual Art. Well done to each student.

Yesterday, the top collecting classes in 1st, 2nd and 3rd year for Run for Life got a great treat! They headed to the cinema and enjoyed a movie and treats for the afternoon.

Classes 3.5 and 3.6 took on a History trip to the St Stephen's Green Famine Exhibition today. This helped them connect their learning with historical reality and helped prepared them for the upcoming Junior Cycle exam. Well done boys.

Today, we hosted the GAA All Stars Awards. We also took the opportunity to present the Junior Football and 2nd Year Hurling Teams with their Leinster Medals won this year. Big thanks to past student and Dublin Senior Footballer Theo Clancy for presenting the awards this morning

Yesterday our Librarians, accompanied by Ms Downey, attended the @KidsBooksIrel Ceremony 2025 at @DublinLiteracy. Having read and discussed the shortlisted books, we were delighted to see our top choice win the Junior Juries' Award! Well done Little Bang by Kelly McCaughrain!
