Yes, one needs designs the local industry can build.

An Abrams from General Dynamics is great, but we also need an updated Sherman than Ford and GM can crank out by the thousands.

The Gospels suppress the time Jesus was practicing turning water into wine and turned the water into whiskey.

Which brings us around to my ultimate thesis, which is that the Roman Republic conquered the entire world it knew...because of woke.

It feels like you're forgetting everyone who lived north of Baltimore, who worked against slavery from day one, though success in that worthwhile endeavor remains unfortunately incomplete.

(John Adams is the first to mind, and he is far from alone.)

I feel like most of the problems with university administration stem from hiring administrators instead of promoting faculty.

Some measure of tax increase would be acceptable if it included spending reforms that would lower spending to meet, then be surpassed by, revenue.

Pay down the debt, drop taxes to an honest level, the run balanced budgets including a bit more spending and occasional rebates.

Some certainly were hypocrites, and some absolutely believed every word they wrote.

Their failure to live up to their professed ideals is less than no reason for us to not strive, however imperfectly, towards those ideals.

We have made a lot of progress expanding those ideals from rich white men to nearly everyone.

Imperfectly, for sure, but they are some damn good ideals.

While psychopathy is the norm in politicians, it has rarely been so nakedly obvious as in Trump. Other presidents could intellectualize the goodness of things like trust, but Trump is so defective he lacks even the ability to assume the virtues he has not.

It is clear that a LOT of Though successfully went into all of it: The ships, the people (human and na'vi), the critters, the *waves vaguely.*

And then I just can't care.

David Attenborough voicing a "documentary" about Pandoran wildlife would be better than the movies.

The best thing Microsoft did in the past 15 years was paying to spin up another reactor at Three Mile Island.

If one thinks vertical launch looks less cool, they clearly have never seen one in action, or even in a video.
