I have had several of my trans brothers and sisters popping off at me recently for suggesting I would feel much safer living in a solid blue state than in the UK.
They don't realise that I am British and my wife is American so I've been able to have a pretty good view of both sides of the pond.

All of western society is screaming out for someone with a spine and all we have are endless fields of wet blankets. And it's maddening. I want to scream. I want to break things.
