Looking more and more into the Switch 2 welcome tour situation. Rather than looking at it as an introduction to the system, maybe this should be compared to a in depth guide, sole separately to the game itself (nighteign guide for instance)
That makes more sense, and justifies the price…maybe.

Just watched your video on the switch reveal being ruined. I still think that Nintendo did a Nintendo and didn’t communicate properly and that backfired on them… @arlostuff.bsky.social
Those leaks are wild at this point. I assume Nintendo is pissed with d brand, genki etc. but on the other hand, the suppliers also need to begin production of accessories too, and it could be that Nintendo pushed the reveal without letting their partners know, and they simply need to start sharing…

@arlostuff.bsky.social watching your DK controversy on credits, I believe is due to payment for residuals. If the original team is no credited, they don’t need to get paid, and by stating that the game is only based on original work, Nintendo freed themselves from paying IP residuals.

So with the release of the switch 2 officially, I kinda confirmed my theory that the switch will be the Nintendo console, as in it will iterative as the iPhone, meaning, it’s part of the switch family rather than being a separate entity, just like the 3ds and its iterations.
