Everyone knows what is happening but I’m not sure there is an appreciation amongst the public that this is a bigger potential crisis than, say, covid

nobody is really spelling out the options and the trade offs or building any kind of narrative around this in any direction. I’m quite unclear on what the options are! (and even if you’d laid the groundwork perfectly, the pressure is going to be immense)
