First day of freedom: I went to a Japanese buffet with my brother and had lots of fun!

I feel so relieved now that I don't have to go to work to my awful job- I almost feel like a different person like... I knew I was stressed due that job, but getting to actually get away from it feels amazing

The full translater quote is: "The first purpose of Grandma’s apron was to protect the clothes underneath, but, in addition… it served as a glove to remove the pan from the oven. It was wonderful to dry the children’s tears and sometimes to wipe dirty faces. From the chicken coop, the apron was used to carry the eggs and sometimes the chicks. When visitors came, the apron served to protect the shy children. This old apron was a bellows, shaken over a wood fire. It was used to carry potatoes and dry wood to the kitchen. From the garden, it served as a basket for many vegetables after the peas were harvested and when it was the turn of the cabbages. And at the end of the season, it was used to collect fallen apples. When visitors came unexpectedly, it was surprising to see how quickly this old apron could leave the dust. When it was time to serve the meals, Grandma went to the ladder to shake out her apron and the men in the field immediately knew that they had to go to the table. Grandma also used it to put the apple pie right out of the oven on the windowsill to cool. It will be many years before some invention or object can replace this old apron. I still think nothing can replace it. In memory of our grandmothers”
