Unfortunately you don't know the benefit to the student untill a few years after. Plenty do 'usefull' degrees and end up burnt out in a year or 2, plenty do less obviously useful degrees and change the world and I don't want to live in a world without art culture or entertainment

I think watching games that are entertaining and fun generally means your less critical and whinging too (and thats on both teams) reflection of how lacking in entertainment the Premier league is this season

He flung his arms around but I took it as more frustration he's been elbowed in the face and stopped from counter attacking

He wasn't even having a go at ref was just generally pissed off that they'd cheated to avoid the counter attack

Theres not 1 competent ref in the league. As a country The people in charge should be going back to basics of training like we did with young players15 yrs ago. Going from champs league to these clowns is embarrassing

I thought the entire justification for so wildly overpaying for elanga was that he would be straight in, ready to go. Someone messed up badly with the scouting/signing even with the improvement can't see any way we dont end up losing a fortune on him

Last 2 games there's a noticble increase in effort and willingness to take a risk. He made a few good runs yesterday but no one saw them (and have my doubts who will make the pass without bruno)

The worry to me is no one really played that bad, just not as good as them in every position apart from the cbs

Honestly this team bores the arse off me. Absolutely nothing to get you going, its like watching a demo game on the playstation. Weve got to buy a couple of players and try something different

Defenders have seen if you get tight and physical quick hrs doesn't really know how to cope. Will be a big summer for the lad, probably starting in the gym

The fact all our players were at least 6/10 and pretty much outclassed apart from the cbs is a worry tbh

Can't believe our attacking plan of very slowly passing to the left, then very slowly passing to the right then very slowly to the left again then just aimlessly lumping it into the box to no on in particular didn't work (again)

Yup but midfields not working either, can't keep relentlessly giving the ball away and slowing counter attacks with under/over hit passes. To many athletes not enough footballers

We didn't play badly individually but we didn't play well. We had 2 chances pretty much out of nothing and had no other real threat, villa had us exactly where they wanted us. I think they played the game howes been trying to get us to play all season, but we can't because lose the ball too much

Villa had us exactly where they wanted us from 10th minute. Yet another match where we carry absolutely no threat of any kind, seen this performance a dozen times this season (and real worry is no one player really poorly, just not good enough)

I can easily see the inconsistency carrying on. Theres alot of good teams in the league now who can beat anyone. I think closer leagues will be the way forward till the big 6 panic and change the rules again

I think 5 to 10 games playing in front of trippier may do him the world of good. On field coached almiron into a player, more to work with elanga as much shit as ive given him
