It’s difficult to process this. Who started the war in Ukraine? What is the concept of a deal when both parties proposing something have lost all connection to any sense of truth? Can anyone take such a deal seriously? My heart goes out to the people of Ukraine.

It’s difficult to process this. Who started the war in Ukraine? What is the concept of a deal when both parties proposing something have lost all connection to any sense of truth? Can anyone take such a deal seriously? My heart goes out to the people of Ukraine.

@emilymaitlis.bsky.social on NA podcast on Net Migration. It struck me that the “net” part gets ignored. We have created sticky migration post-Brexit. Young Brits can no longer easily develop internationally so stay home and we have replaced flexible EU migration with a sticky version from India+
