The dough didn’t hold together well + I ran out of candy melt for the outside and the white chocolate I had wouldn’t melt. Had to improvise with what I had to make this work

A few parallels between Nick Pereira and my own sports journalism career trajectory: we’re both Bay Area born and bred, we both got a shot at proving ourselves with the team we grew up rooting for, and unfortunately, neither of us are employed by Major League Baseball.
