It was a thrilling “was this book written FOR ME??” discovery as we are sometimes prone to at early ages 😂

Francie’s birthday being 12/15 (same as me!) helped pull me deeply into A Tree Grows in Brooklyn when I was a pre-teen and then I was rewarded over and over with new insight by Betty Smith on subsequent re-reads as I identified more with Francie and then, Katie and her sisters.

I keep it 65 here. 58 is sleeping temps. It does kill me to go above 65 but there are people out there at 72!!! That is BALMY.
