In the PC gaming space though Nvidia GPU’s are tops and it’s not even close. The Steam hardware survey shows this constantly. Nvidia is 73.28%, AMD is 18.53%. Intel is a distant 3rd, and most of those are integrated graphics.

Yes, Nvidia doesn’t even care about PC gamers. They can make more money selling their hardware to data centers. Microsoft would rather we stream everything than use hardware, and Nvidia would make more money selling in bulk to Microsoft than selling $600 a pop GPU to the average gamer.

Microsoft doesn’t want future consoles. They want us all to be handcuffed to a data center to play games, and pay more per month than if you just owned your own hardware. It’s the beginning of the end.

I felt it lost some of the charm, with the higher budget the new series had. I think the financial constraints are what made the original a funny “experiment “.
