So today, I’m standing with disabled people across Scotland and beyond. Celebrating us. Backing us. And pushing for a future where inclusion isn’t an afterthought… it’s the baseline.

Disabled people bring resilience, creativity, humour, and a whole lot of heart to our communities. Every time we remove a barrier, whether that be physical, social, or attitudinal, Scotland becomes stronger and fairer.

We deserve systems that work for us, not ones we constantly have to work around.

But here’s the bigger picture: disabled people shouldn’t have to be experts in improvisation just to live in a world that should already be accessible.

(Like when someone asks if I’ve “misplaced” my hand… aye mate, let me just check under my bed.)

Growing up without part of my arm shaped who I am. It taught me problem-solving skills that should honestly qualify me for a degree, patience for days, and the ability to laugh when life throws curveballs.

Is he just realising this? At this rate they’ll be lucky to get fourth place. You can’t build a campaign around CHANGE, then replicate the Tory’s in everything you do. The real change will be when we WIN our independence back.

I’m looking forward to working with them and making sure they have a strong voice to help get this station over the line. The people here deserve it, and frankly, it just makes sense.
