This book has absolutely no business being so funny—I’ve laughed out loud probably more than I have at any comic novel or piece of satire

Struggling a bit with the essay I'm currently writing so I thought I'd resuscitate a piece I wrote last August. I hope it's aged well. Also, please do subscribe if you like anything I've written – it's free and it really keeps me motivated! x

Really cool to find 'The Fran Lebowitz Reader' on Spotify – I genuinely think she might be the sharpest, funniest person on the planet. I'm only about a minute into it and I've already laughed out loud at least four times x

This really struck me - from Joan Didion’s ‘Play It As It Lays’. The way it’s both hilarious and profoundly disturbing at the same time.
