Joined @leilafadel.bsky.social and @npr.org Morning Edition to share why I took a stand on health care this week and why we must continue fighting to extend the ACA credits before health care costs become completely out of reach for tens of thousands of Granite Staters.

Thousands of Granite Staters and millions of Americans are getting hammered by Republicans who are using their power to drive up health care costs that are already way too high. My statement on tonight's House vote:

Thank you @jenpsaki.msnbc.com for having me on to discuss the fight ahead to improve health care. It's why I am running for Congress and why I oppose a deal that fails to extend the ACA credits. Let's channel this anger into action and demand better health care that actually works for people.

Grateful for the opportunity to mark the start of Veterans Day in my hometown at Goodwin Park. Let us recommit to those who have fought to defend our freedom not only today, but every day. Thank you Mayor McEachern and the City of Portsmouth for making this possible.

My dad’s military service shaped his life, and mine too. The military taught him discipline, purpose, and a commitment to service. The GI Bill made law school possible for him and it opened the door to a career built on doing what’s right, even when it’s hard.

Improving health care has been the cause of my life. It’s why I am running for congress. So I cannot support this deal when Speaker Johnson refuses to even allow a vote to extend health care tax credits. My statement:

This administration has tried to make us forget our shared humanity. Divide us. Make us so angry about who's to the left of us and who's to the right of us that we're not looking up at all the money corporations and billionaires are taking from the middle class.
