I just re-read an Eudie Pak about Curt Cobain from this year. Short of it - the signs were all there and everything was blinking red. It parallels with Goldstein's story. Maybe there isn't anyone around him to talk any sense into him but wtf is Toobin doing here.

Toobin writes at the end, "he's content to abandon the law..." Goldstein is content to abandon anything for the next best thing (which always seems to be right in line with the gambling addiction he claims he doesn't have). And then there's me screaming. "Dude, get therapy!"

I think she's very intelligent and talented...but there's a lot of behavior or activities that she later spilled the tea on or railed against...but then continued to perpetuate those things because she is so self absorbed.
