TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) / Colorado Works, child care and social service federal funding is being withheld from CO.
It’s an exhausting constant battle in retaliation and no one cares. These are people - vulnerable humans - whose lives are being toyed with.

If members don’t sign up right now due to the extreme increase in premiums reflected, they won’t have coverage even if the PTC extension is approved.

Yes. I expect that. I have always rescued and think it’s so important. There are so many dogs that need good homes and such a shelter crisis. While I may not be ready to adopt just yet, I would like to do something worthwhile. ❤️🩹

I’m thinking about going somewhere (a dog shelter or dog park) to pet all the dogs because we lost both of ours in the last 7 weeks and I’m not doing well at all.

My younger dog was diagnosed with cancer after emergency surgery on 2/11/25 & we let him go on 3/21/25. My soul dog of 13 years was diagnosed with cancer last Monday and we let him go 5/5/25. Right now my life is measured in loss and the grief is so fucking overwhelming.
