Is this model different from any other Premier League club? Do Spurs have the majority of their players on one year deals?

What financial commitments do Aston Villa have that are 'unfunded"?
September 6, 2025 at 3:07 PM
Is that really the case though? Are the Glazers really helping Man Utd to be 'sustainable'? What's sustainable about selling off homegrown, local players purely to satisfy PSR requirements? Or THFC's unnecessary land grabbing?

Spurs are very much part of the top six elite. What you are not recognising is that the rules are designed to keep them there. Why can't Villa's owners invest to the extent they may wish to? Or Newcastle's?

That's a lifetime ago. Vila are backed by seriously wealthy people and the club has zero debt.

Because Villa have. We are a club who have aspirations to compete at a very high level. Which is more than those clubs, respectfully, have. What hampers clubs like ours are the rules designed to keep the existing elite in place.

Have Brighton, Bournemouth or Brentford played in the Champions League recently?

Could that be John McGinn?

Hi @dalevince.com this looks great! Shame our real life beavers in London are under threat from Tottenham Hotspur's development. A public park taken over for private profiteering. www.crowdjustice.com/case/savewhi...

Sorry Odyzean

Mitchell and Butlers are majority owned by Ozydean, which in turn is a subsidiary of ENIC. They own Tottenham Hotspur, who Enfield Council are allowing to bulldoze Whitewebbs Park - held in public trust - to extend their training ground.

Very sorry for your loss. I remember meeting Paddy years ago in Japan at the World Cup in 2002. Was a great guy - so warm and welcoming.

Speaking of art... I went to Vienna and saw this painting. Pretty sure it's you on the right?

Great pic. Keeper is Kevin Poole, ex-Villan Choccy McClair heading the ball...

Faltering Fullback would always be my 'go-to'... but lots of decent pubs round there... all pretty gastro/gentrified these days.

My default answer always has to be McGrath. But I loved Sid Cowans growing up, and Platty too. Grealish was also special, but feel we missed the best of him.
