Polymarked is not the actual odds of things happening. But i also dont think its very likely. Not because of Trump, but because the military would understand what it means. NATO would be over and NATO is half of the USAs power. China would look a lot better in any conflict with the US.

No problem. I gues you also could crush up rocks. Would make it more expensive tho. If we can use desert sand than we litteraly have that stuff like sand in a desert and that would make the material pretty cheap. I also saw examples that use vulcanic rock.

Yea definetly better than nothing. If we just slap down a lot of wind and solar generation, than it should do a lot for the grid. Do you mean heating with heat reuse ? I mean using the heat to heat houses close by would not br a bad idea i gues.
