Germany is continuously pivoting towards so-called eurosceptic forces as other European states lately. The East West divide within is putting Germany on a stable path towards maximum societal polarization. So yeah, on a stable path towards a lot of bad decisions yet to come.

Joah, man kann nur noch bitter lachen. Aber die Wahrheit ist, dass wir uns alle die Anzahl und Intensität dieser Schocks nicht leisten können. Das ist alles nur noch Wahnsinn. Umweltzerstörung, Kriege, Flucht...ja lass uns eine globale Wirtschaftskrise wieder oben drauf packen!

Just do what makes you happy and gives you peace of mind. The way the world is going right now, there's not much happiness and peace of mind on the horizon anymore. If I had the opportunity, I would use it as long as I'm still healthy and the hard times are not here yet.

TBH I fully expect the Trump admin to abandon Europe completely within a year and disband commands. And starting with the one command headed by the first black 4 star Marine General is just on brand for Trump and MAGA.

Yes exactly, one of those "boats". He also spent time on a destroyer later, but he got "socialized" in the Baltic. He's one of the old school sailors. That's why it's so funny to read how he talks about "dragging your anchor along the ground and supposedly not realizing it..."

VADM stands for Vizeadmiral (Vice Admiral), just to be clear for people who are not familiar with this stuff and might think that it's his name. He served in the now disfunct fast attack craft flotilla during his career, whose main operating ground was the Baltic Sea.

Deine Frage war für jede Person ersichtlich so sugestiv gestellt, dass die einzige mögliche Antwort im Verlauf nur zu dem Schluss hätte führen können, dass Religion generell keinen Platz in einer Kita hat. "Ich habe nur eine Frage gestellt" ist maximal ausgelutscht übrigens.

Das ist wieder so ein sinnloser entweder oder Punkt. Es gilt beides. Russlands Hilfe hat nicht gereicht, um Assad zu stützen. Russland rüstet aber auch ungezügelt auf und ist bereit, viel Schaden anzurichten. Ohne irgendwelche Skrupel.
