Books are back! I’ve been reading Thomas Mann this month. A few days ago, I finished Death in Venice and this morning I picked up The Magic Mountain. I’m getting through it so quickly. What’s more I’ve started a two hour reading session every day or simply, I go to the library without my phone.

It all started in 2006 when I found a strange little man in a toy box. Later, I found out he was The Phantom of the Opera and the obsession began. Now, almost twenty years later I am so close to finishing this project.

Why yes, I name all my animals in Stardew Valley after the villagers. Emily is the rabbit because wool. The duck is named Willy because he floats. The cow is Haley, the goat is George, and the first two two pigs are always Marnie and Lewis.

Today is the thirtieth anniversary of my first poem. No, I won’t share it. I have it memorized but It’s pretty cringe. Still, there’s not a day that doesn’t go by I didn’t wish I still had that faded page in my hand. It would be full of mana.
