Sage was raised by a gleaner and the sellsword who she hired to protect her. They started out unsure, but became proper loving parents. Sage cares for them a great deal and they support his adventuring career.

They are dressed for the cold weather and sitting together on a bench in Sharlayan. Age has lightened their hair. Andrick: "Think we still make a good team?" Claire: "Really? After all this time?" There's a tension, an awkward silence, Elly's face begins to shift from one of surprise to one of humor as she lets out a "pfft" to Skyler's confusion Laughter. What tension there was is now gone. Elly says, "Ahahahahaha! I'm sorry, I shouldn't laugh, I shouldn't. It's just... it's jus- pfff hahaha! So not like you at all!" She's not used to seeing Skyler that forceful and it inspires laughter, much to Skyler's disappointment. But they are good natured and while this does kill this moment in particular, doesn't impact their relationship much.
