Ironically enough, Korea itself doesn't have this kind of law. It's a widely-circulated piece of misinformation (and if anyone disagrees they can kindly link the actual text of the Korean haircut law). OTOH, the West has lojg regulated Black and Native hairstyles, so this policy is uniquely Western.
