I take on almost any genre of commercial audition offered to me, but there's one that my brain just shuts down on, and that's sports anthems/sports announcer reads.

I have no interest in sports, I've barely even been to a live sports event, and I NEVER watch them on TV.

I'm literally clueless 😂

I hated the structure of the first two Octopath Traveller games. Would I like 0?

I always loved the combat but it was never enough to carry me through a bunch of stories I had no investment in.

AI content has actually rotted peoples listening skills.

Checked on an upload of a software tutorial video for a company I've been working with for years, and there's comments being like "The AI VO is unbearable..."

Man, I'm RIGHT HERE. This shit needed to crash yesterday.

Started watching the Apple TV adaptation of Issac Asimov's Foundation and its really freaking good.

The government in this show hates statistics about as much as the real life President 😂

A Darkness at Sethanon Wrapped.

Half this book is one nonstop war scene. It's peak. Prince Arutha is one of the best to ever do it.

What a way to close out a trilogy. Completely flips a bunch of fantasy conventions on their head. Loved it.

Thank you Raymond E. Feist, you're actually the best.

I finished Indiana Jones and the Great Circle.

That's a better Indy movie than the last one I saw and its not close 😂

Finished Silverthorn.

Absolutely loved this book. Easily my favorite Riftwar entry so far. The way the two protagonist's plots intersect in the first half was so well done. It meandered a little bit in the back half but that was made up for in full by the great cliffhanger ending. Onto the next 😤

Walked out of a session and had a good cry today.

Ultimately, it was a little thing, but it was something I never thought I'd get the chance to work on. I've spent the last 5+ years hardening myself, as if to pretend I didn't care.

This was wrong of me. I do care. More than even I knew.

I'm happy

This is the first of Feist's novels that I'm actively rationing myself on. It's easily my favorite work of his so far and I dont want it to end too quickly 😭
This book I'm reading, man...

Had an old slab of brisket that I needed to use so I tried my hand at from-scratch Ethiopian food for the first time and made Sega Wat (same thing as Doro Wat but beef) and uhhhh yeah, I'm too good at this dude. One of the best things I've made in a LONG time.

Ain't pretty, but the taste... 🤤

Finished Jimmy the Hand, the 3rd book (chronologically) in Riftwar.

Despite it starring a character I love, It was only okay. Kinda messy in terms of pacing past the halfway point, and largely loses focus from Jimmy despite him being the guy on the cover.

Not terrible but... eh.

Marc M as Mr. Boss is the funniest VO performance on Smiling Friends in my opinion.

Anyone who was a brain rotted Newgrounds user in the mid 2000s knows. Dude's the goat.

Thinking about the US friends and colleagues I got to work with during and around the pandemic.

I miss y'all so much, and cherish the projects you let me play in.

Wish things could've turned out different for remote folks.

Wrapped up Magician: Master. I can see why this book was such a big deal back in '82, I loved it so much. Almost every chapter had something that made me go "Man, this should be a movie."

Only gripe was Thomas x Aglaranna being...a choice. Not sure how I felt about that. 😬

Jimmy the Hand is next!

American politics are so funny because some unassuming new democrat in his early 40s will run on "I think life should be a bit easier for people" and some 65 year old in the ass end of nowhere with 3 dollars in his bank account will be like "He's literally trying to kill me"

Kinda glad Chainsaw Man wasn't a thing when I was a teenager because I'm petty sure this Reze character would've altered my brain chemistry.
