Ah that’s understandable! Just posted my fable and StoryGraph wrap-up ☺️

That looks like a great month! I think your average rating is the lowest I’ve seen on a wrap up but I imagine you find yourself having to judge quite critically when you read so much? Love it though!

Yeah I’m super happy with that so far. My aim was 3 books a month which I’ve upheld (and above in May!) I’m a recovering workaholic and serial Social Media scroller so it’s a big step to be choosing to read over other distractions for me. I loved reading as a kid and want to get back to that! ❤️

Wow I wish I had the time to be able to enjoy that many books! I’m on 17 books so far which is three ahead of my yearly goal.

Thanks! I’m enjoying it so far 👏🏻

Also, an easy read thanks to the flow of the writing and short chapters. I liked that we flicked back and forth between Laura and Alina’s stories but that they were all from Laura’s POV.

I’m not really into hopeless romance so I don’t think it was the right kind of story for me. I did enjoy the dialogue and the description of loneliness at the beginning though. Ended up rating it ⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’m definitely getting better at it! I tend to default to doom scrolling if I’m not careful so making a conscious effort to pull out a book instead and embed reading into my day. I do find the more I read, the more I look forward to these little pockets of reading time in my day!

I would like to tackle Crime and Punishment and Notes from the Underground at some point! I do think I need to work on my patience for classics first though.

It was a middle of the road for me and my first delve into Russian lit. I would say it’s worth giving a go as it’s so short and it seems to be a love it or hate it sort of book. I actually thought Bobok (which is a short story at the end of my copy) had better potential and was very witty.
