Both tragic and horrifying when the people/family they need support from turn their schizophrenic symptoms into “spiritual warfare “ thus preventing them from getting truly needed help. Leading, of course, into ostracism and more isolation.

Training, dog puzzles, new stimulations… anything that makes them think or use their nose. That and super strong fencing saved us. (I had 150 and 120 pounders both knees)

I don’t have the answers you’re looking for but I understand your concern. That confinement time!! But the two biggest lessons I learned was surgery sooner not later to save the other knee and 10min brain exercise equals 30min physical to tire them out. Also, it was totally worth it. Best of luck!

I read a great thing somewhere about how all those lovely “morning people” go-getters have taken over the world forcing us late night folks to unsuccessfully try to conform. I love them but it’s been an everyday failure for me 😁
