Yesterday I took a quiche to the neighbors who flew “the flag” this past election season. Loving your neighbors in a literal sense. Instead of closing down I am trying to shine my light in such a dark and cruel world. Next Sunday I will attend Chalk the Walk: Everyone is welcome here. Happy Monday!

Some days it is hard to continue to be open, to practice what I preach about being kind and loving neighbors and enemies. I am doing my best and speaking more each day. The recent events demand that I find the courage to speak out for fairness and justice.
