I teach innovators how to use Fogg Behavior Design in the product/service they're building.
I asked Siri to make me a grocery list on Sunday -- on my $1000+ phone -- and what did she say?

"Sorry I can't help with that."

This response from Siri lacks a key focus of every winning product: Help people feel successful. (Fogg Maxim #2)

What could she have said instead?

When there's a new habit you want in your life, instead of trying to "get motivated," do this -->

Analyze your routine and ask: Where in my day does this new behavior fit?

In the past 10 days, I found space for both a new workout activity and an analog productivity tool. No willpower required.

To combat the insane amount of garbage we call "stuff," I'm relishing every piece of useful secondhand goods that I can for my family. The latest: This handmade pottery my aunt made my grandmother in 1994. My parents found it when cleaning out my grandmother's home years ago. Mine now to treasure💗

Collaboration can mean letting go of some control of a project. (Esp. when the trusted partner is my 5 y/o.) The space of uncertainy has so much to teach us. And voila! The outcome is often better than expected. 🎨 p.s. Though I've made placecards solo for many years, this batch may be my fave!

First post in a new (online) space. (So much pressure?!)

How about something simple that made me smile today: This doodle from my kid. Their creativity constantly amazes me.
