Feels very strange that the player they got in exchange for the player they got in exchange for Alex Burrows is still a rookie.

I don’t think the roster is settled yet. Possible there’s an IR placement later in the week and Mancini comes back up.

If I had to pick one waiver-exempt player to make the Canucks this year, it was Jonathan Lekkerimaki. Glad to see it happening.

With today's roster moves, #Canucks 2025-2026 opening roster will be:

Hypothetically. But unlikely, I think.

Looks like the final two #Canucks cuts are Victor Mancini and Tom Willander.

Curious to see if this remains the case until opening night, or if Mancini is back up after some further shuffling.

That is also possible, if they are more than just banged up.

No #Canucks on waivers today means that Arshdeep Bains, Linus Karlsson, Aatu Raty, and P-O Joseph will all be on the opening day roster. The last two cuts must be made from the waiver-exempt crowd...meaning two of Braeden Cootes, Jonathan Lekkerimaki, Tom Willander, Victor Mancini, and EP25.

On NHL waivers today.

This was a terrible sentence.

Elias Junior Pettersson is back on the bench. A late arrival to start the period, but he's there.

Had left late in the second after taking that hard hit from Podkolzin.

Tough break for EP25 on an unfortunate hit there. Awful timing in more ways than one.

Elias Pettersson really throwing the body around out there. And not the one you think!

What a shot. Quite wild that on a Canucks team with Pettersson, Boeser, and Kane, it might be Jonathan Lekkerimaki might have the best shot of them all.

I could honestly see the Canucks going with this as the opening night forward lineup. Put P-O Joseph on waivers, roll with Raty and Karlsson as extras for now.

Well said and agreed x2. No spoilers, but this latest episode really showed that off.

Might be a hot take, but I think John Cena deserves an Emmy for the work he's doing in #Peacemaker. Still hard to believe sometimes that that's really JOHN CENA! on the screen.

What stuck out most on EP40's goal was that he took SEVERAL rips at that one timer before he scored on the last one. He was never gonna stop until that red goal light went off.
He's back and ready. #Canucks

Literally me, right down to the both teams.

I really don't think the #Canucks would waive Aatu Raty, but it's nice to see him playing out there like his job is on the line all the same.
